Guess what? People don’t pirate content because they are digital buccaneers. They do it because it’s the only way they can get content, either at a reasonable price or at all.

Bit Torrent Tracker Hosts Convicted and Sentenced

On Tuesday this week, the District Court of Queensland sentenced two men for their role in facilitating the illegal download of movies.

AFACT's appeal against their loss in the iiNet copyright infringement case commenced in the Federal Court today.  It would appear that they are presenting the same half-truths that were peddled in the original case.
